What is Kratom?
Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom, is a tropical evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia, belonging to the Rubiaceae (coffee) family. Its leaves have a history of traditional use, dating back to at least the 19th century, in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Traditionally, kratom leaves have been consumed by chewing or brewing as a tea.
