Agricultural Loans

Agriculture Resource Development Loan
This program is aimed at conserving and improving agricultural resources in Utah, with objectives including conserving soil and water, increasing agricultural yields, improving water quality and wildlife habitat, and mitigating damages caused by natural disasters.

Emergency Disaster Relief Loans
The purpose of the program is to assist agricultural producers by providing loan funds to help them address extraordinary circumstances related to declared disasters that have resulted in production losses.

Rural Rehabilitation Loans
This program serves as a loan of last resort, offering financing to farmers, ranchers, and agricultural cooperatives who are unable to secure financing from conventional sources. These funds are used to support farm stability and growth mainly through farm and rangeland acquisition and debt restructuring.
The Agriculture Resource Development Loan and Rural Rehabilitation Loan programs are administered by the Utah Conservation Commission and the Agricultural Advisory Board, respectively. Both programs are overseen by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food and its loan program staff.
