Industrial Hemp
Transportation of Hemp concentrates is covered under Utah Code 4-41 and Utah Administrative Rule R66-36. Transport of Transportable Industrial Hemp Concentrate
A UDAF-approved certificate of transfer is required for all transportation of Industrial hemp concentrates into, out of, and within the state of Utah if the concentrates contain between 0.3% and 20% total THC and THC analogs.
Note: This does not apply to any cannabinoid concentrates that are below 0.3% and 20% total THC and THC analogs.
Transportable Industrial Hemp Concentrate Application Instructions:
Application

- At least Ten days prior to the anticipated date of transport, fill out the Transportable Industrial Hemp Concentrate Application for the Hemp transport form and review the requirements below.
- At least Ten days prior to the anticipated date of transport, fill out the Transportable Industrial Hemp Concentrate Application for the Hemp transport form and review the requirements below.
- NOTE: This application is NOT in the AIMS system at this time

- The following documents are required to be submitted as part of the application
- Biomass Certificate of Analysis
- Used to verify that the biomass used to create the concentrate has been certified as industrial hemp by either the U.S. Department of Agriculture or a state department of agriculture.
- Transportable Hemp Concentrate Certificate of Analysis
- Used to verify that a representative sample of the Transportable industrial hemp concentrate has been tested for cannabinoid levels indicating that the product is below 20% Total THC and THC analogs
- Biomass Certificate of Analysis
- The Industrial Hemp department shall approve or deny the transfer based on compliance to state rules and statutes
- Upon approval of the transportation of Transportable Industrial hemp concentrate, the Department shall issue a certificate allowing the transfer to proceed.

- The following documents must accompany the concentrate as it is being transported.
- Biomass Certificate of Analysis
- Transportable Hemp Concentrate Certificate of Analysis
- UDAF approved certificate of transportation
After the transportation

- Within five days of days of receiving the transportable industrial hemp concentrate a sample needs to be sent to the department's analytical laboratory for a cannabinoid profile test
- Within five days of days of receiving the transportable industrial hemp concentrate a sample needs to be sent to the department's analytical laboratory for a cannabinoid profile test
- NOTE: This COA is not required to be submitted to the UDAF Industrial hemp team. It is just to be kept as part of your records
