SUMMARY:2026 Waste Pesticide Collection Event
DESCRIPTION:Who is this for?\nThis event is organized by UDAF in partnership with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and Clean Harbors Environmental Services. This free service is open to farmers\, agricultural producers\, licensed pesticide professionals and the general public. \nWhat is the event?\nIt’s a drop-off event to safely dispose of unwanted\, unusable\, expired\, or degraded waste pesticides. This includes herbicides\, insecticides\, fungicides\, rodenticides\, and other similar chemicals. Note that we strictly accept pesticides—no other waste products are allowed. Fertilizers without an integrated pesticide will not be accepted. Since 2018\, UDAF has collected over 60 tons of waste through these events. \nWhy does it matter?\nImproper storage and disposal of old pesticides is a serious environmental and public health concern. By providing this free collection and disposal service\, UDAF helps protect our communities and ecosystems from hazardous chemical exposure.
