Join us for our 5th annual food safety conference where you will be able to hear from experts, network, and participate in hands-on training.

Description

Are you responsible for food safety or interested in the most recent food safety developments? If so, you are invited to Utah’s 5th Annual Food Safety Conference, April 1-2, 2026 at Thanksgiving Point! This conference is put on by the Utah Food Safety Task Force.

Our keynote speaker will be Patrick Guzzle from the National Restaurant Association. Patrick Guzzle is the VP of Food Science for the National Restaurant Association. With over 20 years of experience in retail food safety, his career began as an Environmental Health Specialist after his wife contracted E. coli O157:H7. Before joining the NRA, he led Idaho’s Food Protection Program and founded Mountain West Food Safety LLC. He holds an M.P.H. from Idaho State University.

This conference is for academia, farmers, industry, manufacturers, producers, public health, regulators, retailers, and anyone else who is interested in food safety.

This conference will be in-person only. You do not have to be from Utah to attend.
