Governor Huntsman Knows What's Cookin’
at Utah State Fair Turkey Feast
Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr., will become Chef Huntsman during the Utah State Fair’s Turkey Feast, Tuesday, September 13, at 1:00 p.m. The State’s chief executive is scheduled to don an apron and chef’s hat to help barbecue some of the state’s delicious homegrown turkey. The public is invited to the turkey feast to “gobble” up his fine cuisine.
The Turkey Feast will run from noon until 7:00 p.m. at the Specialties Tent, located near the main entertainment stage.
The Turkey Feast is sponsored by the Utah Turkey Producers.
Chefs will offer the public turkey cooked in a variety of ways; such as marinated turkey kabobs, turkey pot roast sandwiches, roast turkey/potato bites, and honey mesquite turkey deli samplers.
The cost of the meal is $5.00 per person. Each person buying a meal will receive a coupon good for $3.00 off any Norbest turkey product.
