Managing
The Risks Of Today's Agriculture
Utah farmers and
ranchers have a rare opportunity to protect their agribusiness by attending
one of 13 Risk Management seminars scheduled for early 1999. The seminars
are traveling work training sessions designed to offer up-to-date information
on smart farming and smart business techniques. A fee of $15.00 will help
offset printing and room rental costs.

help you weather the storm of the current economics
A hard rain of uncertainty
and challenge is hitting Utah farmers and ranchers. How good is your umbrella
of knowledge to protect your business and your family? Utah State University
is sponsoring a series of 13 public meetings throughout Utah. Industry experts
on finance, the environment, production, marketing, the law, human resources,
the Clean Water Act, and more will offer advice to farmers and ranchers.
"I encourage
every farmer and rancher in Utah to find time to attend the seminar near
you. The challenges facing agribusiness today are complex, and the time
spent at these seminars can help us all protect our investment,"
said Commissioner of Agriculture and Food, Cary Peterson.
