Environmental Protection Agency Honors
Jack Wilbur
with Friend of EPA award
Conservation and Resource Management Division Public Information Specialist Jack Wilbur received the "Friend of EPA" award for his outstanding work in educating the public about the benefits of the EPA's Nonpoint Source Program in Utah.
"It’s an honor to be recognized by EPA. We’ve had a great working relationship over the years. Our partnership has helped many Utah farmers and ranchers protect and enhance our precious natural resources.”
In the past several years Jack hosted and planned the National Nonpoint Source Coordinators Meeting conference that attracted a record number of participants. He produces education booklets and video-tapes on the benefits of soil and water conservation practices. He recently published a book, Getting Your Feet Wet with Social Marketing: a Social Marketing Guide for Watershed Programs.
