Utah Department of Agriculture and Food Moves to 4-day Week

The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF) has joined with the majority of State of Utah agencies by moving from the traditional five-day work week to an expanded four-day work week. 

     The new schedule offers additional hours of service at the UDAF Building from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  The building and administrative offices are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Essential services such as food and dairy inspection, seed analysis, brand inspection and other critical duties remain on the Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule.   The change took effect Monday August 4, 2008.
