Utah's Own Summit set for May 19th

Utah’s Own Plans Follow-up Summit for Local Food Producers
Salt Lake City food summit follows successful event in 2014

Local food producers from Salt Lake and surrounding counties have another chance to learn from the pros how to market and sell their products during the upcoming Utah’s Own Entrepreneurial Summit.

Following the very successful Utah’s Own Summits held in thirteen locations around the State in 2014, the Small Business Development Centers in Salt Lake, Davis, Tooele, and Weber Counties and Utah’s Own are again partnering to provide a unique follow-up opportunity.  Food-oriented companies are invited to receive training from industry experts and discuss forming local Utah’s Own Chapters.  Local Chapters (whether in Salt Lake City, Farmington, Tooele or Park City) can provide ongoing training and networking opportunities that would address specific challenges affecting area businesses while continuing to interact with the statewide Utah’s Own Program.  Come join this agriculture and food entrepreneurship training, networking and Utah’s Own Chapter event.

Networking at Utah's Own summits provides important contacts for start up businesses.
