Utah's Own Summit Set For Orem & Eastern Utah April 30

Utah’s Own Plans Follow-up Training Summit for Local Food Producers
Utah County and Eastern Utah food producers invited

Utah County and Eastern Utah food producers have another chance to learn from the pros how to market and sell their products during the upcoming Utah’s Own Entrepreneurial Summit.
Following the very successful Utah’s Own Summits held in 13 locations around the State in 2014, the Small Business Development Centers in Orem and Eastern Utah and Utah’s Own are again partnering to provide a unique follow-up opportunity.  Food-oriented companies are invited to receive training from industry experts and discuss forming local Utah’s Own Chapters.

Local Chapters (whether in Utah, Wasatch, Carbon, Emery, Duchesne, Daggett or Uintah Counties) can provide ongoing training and networking opportunities that would address specific challenges affecting area businesses while continuing to interact with the statewide Utah’s Own Program.  Come join this agriculture and food entrepreneurship training, networking and Utah’s Own Chapter event.

When:  Thursday, April 30, 2015.  Registration begins at 9:00 am with presentations, breakouts and lunch from 9:30 to 12:30.  Admission and lunch are free.  Registration is available by calling Vira Bahr at 801-863-8230, or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
