USDA Natural Resources Conservation Serivce (NRCS) has teamed up with UDAF and several other agencies and organizations to offer three regional soil health workshops January 31 - February 2, 2017.
"We had over 400 attendees last year in the two locations," said Dave Brown, State Conservationist, Utah NRCS. "We hope to reach a few more people this year with 3 locations, and by focusing on the management and crops here in Utah. We have presenting: Soil Health experts, an Idaho Farmer who has had great success with soil health and a diverse farming/ranching operation, the USU State Extension Agronomist, along with local farmers presenting what they are doing here in Utah with Soil Health!"
This year's workshops will be:
- January 31 - Richfield, UT - Sevier County Admin. Building, 250 N. Main St. Richfield, UT
