Information and Education News
Most watershed projects funding with EPA Section 319 funds include an information and education component. Additionally the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, Utah Division of Water Quality, and Utah State University conduct statewide and regional outreach efforts and assist local watershed associations with their projects as needed. Some of those statewide and regional efforts include: Utah Watershed Review the quarterly publication of the Utah Nonpoint Source Task Force, which is produced by Jack Wilbur, Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. Utah State University's Water Education for Kids activities, which are part of Nancy Mesner's statewide 319 I&E program. Outreach and Social Marketing training workshops for watershed coordinators and others, which are conducted by Jack Wilbur.
